Ashlyn Hammond joins Concordia Group as a Summer Intern and Public Affairs Associate, bringing a track record of initiative, discipline, and genuine curiosity that sets her apart. Currently studying Accounting at Iowa State University with a minor in Entrepreneurship, Ashlyn is on track to graduate in December 2027 — balancing a demanding academic load with professional experience and deep campus involvement.
At ISU, Ashlyn has built a well-rounded presence through active membership in Delta Sigma Pi, Beta Alpha Psi, the Marketing Club, and Collegiate Women in Business. These organizations have helped her sharpen the collaboration, communication, and professional networking skills she hopes to continue developing at Concordia Group. Her ability to work across functions — from accounting-specific organizations to broad business fraternities to marketing — reflects both her range and her genuine enthusiasm for professional growth.
Ashlyn’s work experience spans high-volume, fast-paced environments. As a server at both Buffalo Wild Wings and Olive Garden, she has developed the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, communicate effectively with a wide range of people, handle transactions with precision, and consistently deliver strong customer experiences. It’s the kind of practical, pressure-tested training that translates directly into real-world professional effectiveness.
Outside the classroom and workplace, Ashlyn is someone who sets goals that seem improbable — and then meets them. She ran a full marathon in October with minimal prior running experience, a challenge she approached with the same discipline and perseverance she brings to everything else.
