Jill Ryan is the CEO of Global Direct Mail & Marketing and President of Concordia Group, leading both organizations with a focus on strategic growth, operational excellence, and delivering results. Under her leadership, Global Direct has evolved from a small startup into a nationally recognized, vertically integrated firmserving clients across the country. By combining direct mail and marketing, and public affairs, she has positioned both companies as industry leaders in communications and advocacy.

Jill has an extensive background in political strategy, grassroots engagement, and high-impact public affairs. She served as National Deputy Campaign Manager for Rick Santorum’s 2012 presidential campaign, directed multiple Super PACs, and led national fundraising efforts for Senator Chuck Grassley’s successful elections. Her expertise in mobilizing support, navigating complex political landscapes, and executing winning strategies has made her a sought-after leader in political and issue-based campaigns.

Her influence extends beyond politics, leading major public policy and infrastructure initiatives across the Midwest. Most notably, she spearheaded the effort to pass Iowa’s largest bond referendum—a $350 million investment in Des Moines International Airport—a critical project securing the region’s economic growth. Jill also represents top grassroots clients and major advocacy projects, helping shape policy outcomes in key Midwest states.

Jill and Nick reside in the Des Moines area with their three children. She serves on the Dowling Catholic Foundation Board and volunteers with Sacred Heart Church and School.

Fun Facts About Jill

After running from Iowa for 10 years, in 2007 Jill moved back home, fell in love, got married and started a family.

Jill grew up on a farm outside a small town in northern Iowa. That town had a population of 160, no stoplights but did have a couple stop signs!

As a young girl, Jill’s summer job was riding the bean bar at her family soybean farm.

Jill’s claim to fame is that she was an All-Conference Basketball player in High School.

Jill’s love of politics started at an early age, where she grew up knocking on doors and walking in parades for her dad who was a U.S. Congressman for 20 years.

In her free time, Jill enjoys cooking (Nick bakes), entertaining family and friends, and reading.
