After running from Iowa for 10 years, in 2007 Jill moved back home, fell in love, got married and started a family.

Jill grew up on a farm outside a small town in northern Iowa. That town had a population of 160, no stoplights but did have a couple stop signs!

As a young girl, Jill’s summer job was riding the bean bar at her family soybean farm.

Jill’s claim to fame is that she was an All-Conference Basketball player in High School.

Jill’s love of politics started at an early age, where she grew up knocking on doors and walking in parades for her dad who was a U.S. Congressman for 20 years.

In her free time, Jill enjoys cooking (Nick bakes), entertaining family and friends, and reading.
